Spring Blossom Dates in the Okanagan Valley
Published April 7th, 2006 in The Shuswap River Travel Guide
The Okanagan Valley comes alive during blossom time. Plan to visit the Okanagan from mid April - mid May to experience the spring beauty of the Valley’s orchards. While a drive through any of the valley’s agricultural areas is sure to reward you with blossom-laden views and vistas, several local orchards do offer tours for visitors. Plan to visit Davison Orchards in Vernon on May 15 to take part in their Mother’s Day Victorian Tea and Blossom Tour. The Kelowna Land and Orchard Company also offers orchard tours throughout the growing season from spring to autumn. Gatzke’s Farm Market opens for the season in Mid May.
