Mara Camping & RV is a new private campground just 5 minutes south of Mara Lake, offering 8 forest campsites for affordable tent and RV camping. Conveniently located next to the Mara Foodliner Store which offers a full fruit stand, groceries and gas station, Mara Camping & RV is just 10 min. from Mara Provincial Park, minutes to local hiking trails and the Shuswap River for canoeing.
With the recent surge in condo developments along Mara Lake, many of Mara Lake’s traditional campgrounds have been lost. For families making the trek to Mara Lake from the prairies every summer, this means fewer campsites are available, and the the few campgrounds which still remain fill up quickly.
