All group accommodation is just minutes from many free outdoor activities in the Shuswaps, including canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and tubing on the Shuswap River.
Group Cottage Accommodation
Mara offers three independant self-catering cottages along the Shuswap River for small groups or families seeking a peaceful group vacation. All cottages are within walking distance of each other, yet far enough apart to provide privacy. Cottages vary in size, sleeping from 2-10, depending on the cottage. Each cottage offers a full kitchen, large deck facing the Shuswap River, BBQ and private riverfront, with direct access to canoeing and kayaking on the peaceful Shuswap River.

Group Camping
Mara Camping & RV offers affordable group camping with 8 forest campsites in their private campground just 5 minutes south of Mara Lake. Each campsite has electrical service suitable for tent or RV camping, and their is abundant drinking water available on site. Located next to the Mara Foodliner Store, which offers a full fruitstand, groceries, camping supplies, ice cream and gas station. There is still availability during July and August 2006.

B&B Accommodation*
For groups requiring additional short-term accommodation, there are two excellent B&B’s in Mara. Mara Cottage B&B has one independant B&B vacation suite and is run by the owners of Mara Camping & RV.
