Come enjoy the Okanagan’s Cultural and Independant Music Festival August 4-6,2006 at Komasket Park in Vernon.
This grassroots cultural dynamic festival is one of a kind in BC, it is held on First Nations sacred land, West side Rd. on beautiful Okanagan Lake. The festival features cutting edge independent bands from all over the world and focuses on original, dance oriented soul, funk, rock, reggae, soca and world music. Other features are family & singles camping on the lake, kids village, artisans & food market, a tipi Village, dance & multi media stage & Dj’s with visuals after hours!! A traditional First Nations wild game & salmon pit cook will be hosted by the BC Native Women’s Society. This year we are anticipating huge crowds of music & dance lovers from all over Canada!!
The Komasket Music Festival is a fundraiser for the BC Culture and Language Society.
