The Annual Shuswap Dragonboat Festival will take place on July 1, 2006 at the Salmon Arm Wharf. With 16 teams competing from across British Columbia, this annual event is a popular one with young and old. There will also be a display of hand crafted wooden boats, cultural, artisan and recreational displays, as well as plenty of food, music and dance and even a dragon egg hunt for the kids.
