Newmann’s Bed and Breakfast at Mara Provincial Park now closed

The Newmann’s Bed and Breakfast located across from Mara Lake Provincial Park, sold in Spring 2006, and no longer offers accommodation for B&B guests. Fortunately, there are two new Bed and Breakfasts to serve guests just 5 minutes south of Mara Lake Provincial Park in Mara.
Mara Station on the River B&B
Mara Station on the River B&B offers two exceptional guest rooms overlooking the Shuswap River, both with queen beds and private ensuites. Guests have full use of the guest kitchenette and sitting lounge, and breakfast is served in the sunroom beside the Shuswap River.
Mara Cottage B&B
Mara Cottage B&B offers an independant B&B suite in a forest setting, with queen bed and sitting area, plus private ensuite. For visitors to Mara Lake wishing to camp, they also offer 8 forest campsites in their new campground at Mara Camping & RV.
Weekly Cottage Rental
For guests seeking weekly accommmodation, Shuswap River Cottage and Bearfoot Cottage offer weekly accommodation for groups from 2-10.
