During the winter months swans make their home on the Shuswap River. A great location for nature enthusiasts and bird-watchers alike. Visit the Allan Brooks Nature Centre in Vernon to learn about the wildlife of the North Okanagan.Visit the Kingfisher Interpretive Centre east of Enderby along the Shuswap River, to learn about our local Salmon, visit an authentic First Nations Pit House, and partake in their famous Salmon BBQ.
